Due to the new Covid-19 protocols for the workplace, and strict laws about social distancing, the way we operate will be slightly different for the time being.
Until further notice we will be working with a reduced number of staff, which will result in a lower number of bookings per day.
We are at present working our way through the list of clients that had appointments booked during the time we have been closed. If you have not yet been contacted by us please bare with us as we are doing the best we can to accommodate everyone. With this, PLEASE make sure your contact information is up to date with us so we can get in touch with you.
At this time we will not be taking on any new clients until we have cleared the back log of our regular clients.
If any of our clients that had appointments booked while we were closed have had their dog groomed elsewhere and are not at present desperate for an appointment, please let us know so we can offer this appointment to someone else.
Please observe the following guidelines for pick up and drop off for clients who have been given appointments.
We will not be accepting any cash payments at this time and all payments will be made over the phone before pickup.
Because every dog that comes into the salon must be placed into the bath immediately we will not be able to de-matt any dogs before hand. This means if your dog is badly matted they may have to be clipped short to maintain the welfare of the dog. If your dog is severely matted there will be an additional charge on the groom.
Please be punctual when picking up and dropping off your dog. Times have been staggered intentionally so that clients are not running into each other. This also gives us enough time to clean between each person and dog entering and leaving the salon. If you are late dropping off you may be rescheduled. Please be on time.
For the time being we will be suspending our loyalty card scheme. This is because we have had a very large loss in earnings during this period and to help the business we thought it was better for the clients to suspend this service rather than adding an extra charge to our grooming rates. We hope you understand.
We are looking forward to seeing all of our loyal clients and would like to thank you all for being so patient with us during this difficult and worrying time.
Any questions please do not hesitate to ask us.
COVID-19 PROTOCOL FOR CLIENTS
On arrival, place your Dog on the Dog Park, using the slip lead provided and take your own collars leads and harnesses with you.
Please read and sign our new Covid-19 Terms and Conditions on our Reception Desk before you leave.
When we have finished the groom, we will call you, and payment will be made over the phone. NO CASH PAYMENTS CAN BE TAKEN UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. You will then be given a time to return for our Dog. Please be prompt.
Upon return, please stay in your car and call us to let us know you have arrived. We will then leave your Dog in reception and unlock the door for you to collect.
COVID-19 GROOMING POLICY
CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH WE ACCEPT DOGS FOR GROOMING
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic the way in which we work and groom your dogs has changed dramatically. Whilst we will be adhering to the strictest guidelines to reduce the spread of the disease, it must be clearly understood that clients wishing to have their dogs groomed at this time do so at their own risk, and must agree to our Terms and Conditions.
Anybody self-isolating, classed as vulnerable, or showing any symptoms MUST NOT under any circumstances attend a grooming appointment.
On arrival, all clients must follow hygiene procedures put in place to minimise cross contamination. Clients are now responsible for safely securing their own dog when dropping off via crate or hook up system. All Harnesses/Collars and Leads must be removed and taken home.
We require at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellations. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee, payable before any future appointments can be made. We can now only accept remote payments, which must be made prior to the collection of your Dog. You MUST drop off / pick up at the stated time. Only one client is permitted in our Reception at a time. Times are purposely staggered to ensure this. Any Dogs arriving late may have to be rebooked. Uncollected Dogs will be charged a sitting fee as this will result in the next client having to be postponed or cancelled.
It is the Clients responsibility to ensure their dog is fit and healthy and must notify us of any issues prior to their appointment. Grooming of sick and elderly dogs is entirely at owner’s risk. Grooming may expose underlying skin or health problems that we cannot be held liable for. Whilst every care and attention will be given to your dog that are accepted at your own risk.
All Dogs must now be bathed immediately which means that no pre brushing r d matting can occur. We will try our best to maintain the desired style, but any knotted or matted coats will be clipped short as our concern is the wellbeing of your pet.
Dogs requiring extensive work will incur an extra charge.
Many Thanks for your co-operation.
